My journey

I investigated my own body.
Here's what I found.

The story of a transformation, from the collapse to the method.

The turning point

And then one day, my body gave out.

I didn't see the crash coming. For years, I'd held it together: work, family, responsibilities, the image of the woman who has it all under control. I wasn't eating particularly badly, I was active, I was sleeping more or less correctly.

And yet.

17 kg in one year, with no major life change. A fatigue that wouldn't let go, even after a full night's sleep. A diffuse anxiety that gripped me every morning, with no identifiable cause. A stomach that no longer digested anything the way it used to.

I went to see doctors. Normal blood work. No thyroid issue. No identifiable pathology. "Ma'am, it's probably stress." Or "it's your age." Or "it happens, just try a little harder."

Except I was already trying. And the harder I tried, the less it worked.

"When your body gives out and no one believes you, that's a second collapse."

The search

So I did what we all do: I looked.

When you're told there's nothing wrong, but you can feel that something is, you become stubborn. I took my problem head-on and went looking for answers. Not once. Not twice. Methodically, with a notebook, precise questions, the will to understand.

Here's what I tested. Seriously. Without lasting results.

  • The nutritionist — a strict meal plan, lost 4 kg, gained 6 back three months later.
  • Intermittent fasting — 6 months of discipline. No weight change. Stomach still bloated.
  • Intensive workouts — 4 sessions a week for a year. More fatigue, no more energy.
  • Off-the-shelf supplements from the pharmacy — picked at random, like everyone else. No measurable effect.
  • Yoga, meditation, sophrology — real benefits for the mind. Zero effect on the body.
  • Generalist alternative medicine — naturopath, homeopath, osteopath. Plenty of listening. No real answer.

Each time, I left with a protocol. Each time, I stuck to it. Each time, it worked for three weeks, then my body went back to its own trajectory. I wasn't lazy. I wasn't undisciplined. I was just facing solutions that hadn't been built for ME.

"I realized there was a question nobody dared ask me."

The discovery

And one day, I came across the right word: microbiome.

I was in continuing hypnotherapy training, and the trainer briefly mentioned the gut–brain axis. The idea that the gut sends the brain far more signals than it receives. That your mood, your fat storage, your food cravings aren't decided in your head, but in your belly.

I jotted three words in my notebook that day. Microbiome. Neurotransmitters. Chronic inflammation. And I started reading seriously — scientific publications. Not living-room wellness — real literature on human microbiomics and functional nutrition.

What I understood stunned me: for all those years, we'd been looking for solutions on the outside (diets, fitness, generic supplements) while the terrain — mine, which looked like nobody else's — had never been examined.

Microbiome

Neurotransmitters

Terrain

So I did something simple: I analyzed MY microbiome. I measured MY neurotransmitters. I tested MY trace elements. With the very tools I'd later train my clients to use.

The results changed my life. Not because they were spectacular. Because they were PRECISE.

"For the first time, I had data. Not opinions."

What changed

17 kg. And so much more.

On the numbers, here are the facts: 17 kg lost in less than two years, no diet, no deprivation, no overtraining. A stabilization that has lasted ever since — no rebound. Energy back. Deep sleep. Calm digestion. An anxiety that faded out on its own.

But what I want to tell you is what the numbers don't say.

Peggy Girault today, after her own transformation

When you've been searching for years without finding, you end up telling yourself you're the problem. That you lack willpower. That you're not enough. That others get there and you don't.

What changed deeply is that. The relationship to my body. The end of the inner voice that kept blaming me. Stepping out of a spiral where every failed attempt confirmed I was defective.

With the right tools, I understood that my body wasn't betraying me. It was talking to me. It was simply asking to be listened to differently.

"The real change isn't the weight. It's the silence that comes back into your head."

Passing it on

A personal experience isn't enough.
I wanted to turn it into real expertise.

What happened to me could have stayed a personal story. Many women go through a transformation and share it on Instagram. That's valuable, but it wasn't what I wanted.

I wanted to understand WHY it had worked for me. And, above all, what it would take for it to work for other women — all different, with other terrains, other emotions, other stories.

So I trained. Seriously. Over several years. For each tool I'd discovered and that had pulled me out of the dead end, I sought out the most rigorous training I could find. The kind grounded in science, not in homemade protocols.

What I share today

Ericksonian hypnotherapy

To work on emotional triggers and food compulsions in depth.

Human microbiomics

Reading and interpreting microbiome analyses run by a French laboratory. Building nutrition/supplementation protocols tailored to each microbiome.

Functional nutrition

To bridge science and daily practice.

Neurotransmitter and trace element assessment

Mastery of Oligocheck and Cardicheck tools to map each client's terrain with precision.

I also understood something while building my method: what really transforms isn't an isolated expertise. It's the orchestration of several levers, fitted to the singularity of each woman. The microbiome without the emotions doesn't hold. The emotions without the biological terrain don't hold either.

And then I understood something else. Something I hadn't anticipated.

The encounter

And then Laetitia came along.

What I hadn't anticipated while building my method was this: the best-thought-out strategy in the world is useless if it doesn't translate into concrete action, day after day.

My clients understood what I was explaining. They were convinced. They wanted it. And yet, some dropped off after a few weeks — not for lack of motivation, but because between understanding and DOING there's a gap nobody had thought to fill.

I realized my method was good but incomplete. Someone was missing — someone who wouldn't do the same thing I did, who would do the opposite. Not the diagnosis. The execution.

Her transformation

April 2022. Laetitia is a primary school teacher, overweight, exhausted. She joins Peggy's community. Not to be formally coached — just to share her daily life with other women going through the same thing.

Two years later, April 2024: −48 kg. A rebirth, as she calls it herself. Not a diet, not heroic effort — a terrain that shifts, a strategy that holds, a team that's there.

From client to teammate

In the community, Laetitia shares generously. She comments on other women's plates, offers feedback, encourages. Without asking anything in return. A genuine friendship forms with Peggy. There's no precise start date for their collaboration — a partnership that gradually built itself, alongside Laetitia's own career change.

Her training

  • Master's in Sports Science, training specialty (2001) + Bachelor's in Sports Science, education and motor skills (2000)
  • BPJEPS sports educator (Sports Science equivalent)
  • Heart coherence advisor — Dr David O'Hare (2023)
  • Mental preparation for athletes — Thierry Lautret (2024)
  • And all the experience accumulated alongside Peggy since her own transformation.

Her role today

Laetitia runs the weekly workshops, sends you a personalized message every Monday, welcomes new arrivals on the 1st Tuesday of each month, and stays available throughout the week on the app for everyday questions (nutrition, breathing, returning to physical activity).

How we complement each other

Peggy

The detective

"I'm your point of reference for diagnosis and strategy."

Biological diagnosis (microbiome, neurotransmitters, trace elements). Custom strategy. Targeted hypnotherapy on emotional blocks. Ongoing strategy adjustments based on check-ins.

Laetitia

The everyday teammate

Daily support through the Étincelle Ta Vie app (tracking, classroom, messaging, community). Weekly workshops (strength training, nutrition Q&A, Welcome). Heart coherence, return to physical activity. Concrete solutions to apply the strategy in real life.

We work as a duo. Not in parallel. Stitched together. You're supported by the two people you need, exactly when you need them.

That's the Étincelle Ta Vie method today. Not an expert handing you a plan. A duo carrying you from diagnosis to lasting transformation.

"You don't need a coach.
You need the right team."
